About Us

To assist in the mission of the Franklin County Fire Chiefs’ Association (FCFCA), the Franklin County Public Safety Training Center (FCPSTC) was built on the grounds of the Franklin County Career and Technology Center.

The FCPSTC consists of the Burn Building, Classroom Building, Vehicle Rescue Site, Roof Simulator, and the Burkholder Building (storage garage).  These areas allow for new and veteran firefighters to experience on-going training to enhance their ability to respond to any emergency situation.

The training center is ADA accessible, has free parking available on-site, and broadband internet access available across the campus. The large classroom can accommodate up to 60 students and is equipped with Wi-Fi, projector, a smart lectern with an integrated PC that is also capable of connecting to laptops with HDMI and VGA connections.
