Class Details
This course is designed to introduce EMS, fire, and law enforcement to the rescue task force concept as it pertains to responding to active shooter scenarios or acts of aggressive deadly behavior. This two-day course will train responders on personal safety, life-saving techniques, provider/patient movement, triage, and other important aspects of the concept. This
concept allows EMS and fire to be partnered with law enforcement officers to enter secured areas and utilize their training to treat/transport injured individuals. This course offers both classroom and realistic scenario-based exercises.
