Fire Training Membership Program

The Franklin County Public Safety Training Center offers a training membership program to all in-county fire departments and any out-of-county fire departments that participate in our annual per capita assessment. Participation in the training membership program is voluntary. Departments that do not participate in the training membership program will continue to be invoiced on a per course basis, may continue to request specific courses or general categories of training, and may also host training on-site at their departments, assuming minimum enrollment thresholds are met by the requesting agency and any required training props are available on-site.

Benefits of the training membership program include the following:

  • No additional registration fees for any Bucks County Community College courses offered at the Franklin County Public Safety Training Center
  • Ability to host up to 80 hours of non-certification training at your station or other approved off-site location without incurring additional registration fees
  • Ability to pre-register members for any classes scheduled by your department
  • Streamlined invoicing – single annual invoice rather than multiple invoices for your department to process throughout the year
  • Reduced variable training expenses – easier department budgeting process
  • Administrative support from FCPSTC staff to assist with course advertising, processing registrations, scheduling of classes offered at your department
  • One free burn building usage for a Structural Burn Session class or two free burn building usages for Fire Control Refresher classes
  • Increased scheduling flexibility- train at times and locations that are the most convenient for your department
  • Access to over 220 Bucks County Community College courses
